Calpe – Images and Video of a changing City

This week’s main story is about the city of Calpe,
just north of Benidorm. For many years now, we have been
visiting Calpe with our family as we have friends living
nearby.
To me, the most impressive thing about Calpe is its
massive rock formation called the Penon de lfach, which reaches into
the Mediterranean sea. This, together with many
archaeological findings such as the ruins of Roman baths
and the two impressive downtown churches, make Calpe
ideal for a day trip. Or if you prefer the sandy
Calpe beaches, its perfect for a sunny summer vacation.
