Guadalest – The Cliffhanging Castle

Just about 40 minutes north of Alicante and about 20 minutes
from Benidorm lies the impressive town of Guadalest. If you are
staying around the Benidorm, Denia, Calpe, Altea area – a visit
to this magnificent area of Guadalest would be among my
first choices.
Guadalest is widely known for its cliffhanging castle and its
variety of museums. It was quite a surprise to see so many
different museums in such a tiny village.
From the official municipal museum to seeing the castle and the
perfectly renovated Orduna family house, to the museum of
micro miniatures of Manuel Ussa and the fascinating contemporary
Art Museum of Ribera Girona just to name a few.

Above all – what makes Guadalest so perfect is it’s beautiful
landscape around. I tried to cover as much as I could on
the Video. Even with its technical limitations in quality, I
hope you get an idea on how lovely this place is:
