Lying south of Torrevieja, the Mar Menor is a beautiful natural
lagoon. A natural 13 miles long strip called la Manga (the sleeve)
cuts the Mediterranean sea and creates a lagoon, the Mar Menor.

Around the area lovely villages and golf course go hand in hand.
This makes the region to one of the most promoted vacation and
retirement spots in Spain.

If you have a chance (and a car) make sure you visit the sleeve,
and drive up the road with a lagoon to one and the Mediterranean
to the other side:
