I know we mentioned the city of Alcoy in one of our past newsletters,
and this is a good opportunity to get back to this spectacular town.
Alcoy is famous (Spain wide) for its celebrations of the Moors
and Christians, which take place each year at end of April.
My interest and appetite for history was again feed by spending time
in its historical buildings and archaeological museum with magnificent
findings from the Iberian and Roman history.
For history buffs like myself, I can really recommend a combined visit to
Alcoy and Cocentaina on your next trip to the Costa Blanca.
